The Storefront Admin Config Page

The Storefront Admin page displays most of the storefront configuration settings.

*VERY IMPORTANT Once your storefront changes are made they will not take effect until all browser browser sessions are ended. This loading scheme is used to insure that customers do not experience configuration changes which in the middle of placing orders. If a website tricker or monitoring program of some type is being used then at least one session may remain permanently open thereby preventing the reloading of new storefront configuration changes. You can force an immediate reload of storefront configuration changes by using the force reload command.

When this Admin Page is 1st loaded none of the possible settings tables will be loaded. You must select a table and press the [ Find / Fresh ] button to load a table.

• [Find / Fresh ] loads a table for viewing / modification.
• [ Clear Form ] unloads a table.
• Storefront Dropdown list selects a storefront to edit (if multiple storefronts are stored in the same database).
• Table Name dropdown list selects a table to load.
• [ Update ] button next to each row of data is used to UPDATE the database with that row ONLY. Pressing the update button for a row will only update that row, and NOT update changed made to other rows in the table.
• [ ADD ] Adds a row to the table. The row (or record) is defined by filling in the ADD RECORD FIELDS. The add record command is not present on all tables.
• [ ADD ALL ] Adds a row to the table for every storefront configured in the site. The row (or record) is defined by filling in the ADD RECORD FIELDS. The add record command is not present on all tables.
• [ Delete ] button next to each row of data is used to DELETE that row from the table. The delete row command is not present on all tables.

Force Reload Command notes:
The force reload command queues a job that will force a 100% reload of all storefront configuration data and counters associated with a website. The reload command attempts to close all open browser sessions if possible before reloading new settings. To force a reload simply fill in your email address and press the [ Queue Reload of Website ] button on the storefront admin page. The system will send you an email once the reload has completed (typically 2 to 5 minutes).

It performs this task by executing the commands found in the .forcereload.bat file. For the Force Website Reload command to work the supplied batch file forcereload.bat must be renamed and modified to work with your web site. This file must be modified to touch the datestamp on the global.asa files associated with the website(s). The name of this file must be changed to .forceredload.bat.

You do not need to force a reload of the following information (all other storefront information will not take effect until a reload has occured):

• Shipping rate tables
• Quantity pricing tables
• Sales tax tables
